A sign-on bonus of $60,000 is offered to external hires only.

Eligibility requires continued full-time (1.0 FTE) employment with AHN for a minimum of three years in the initially hired position.

Rehires must have been separated from AHN for at least twelve months to qualify.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This role involves providing anesthetic care for patients in a surgical setting.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for all patients. Maintain accurate medical records. (45%)
• Monitor patients under anesthesia and respond to abnormal responses. Consult with physicians on care plans and clinical decisions outside the CRNA's scope. (35%)
• Participate in and develop performance and quality improvement initiatives. (10%)
• Comply with legal, ethical, and safety standards, and adhere to regulations. (5%)
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff or students. (5%)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum:

• Current PA RN license
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• CPR (American Heart Association)
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred:

• Previous CRNA experience
