Formación

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data related to the patient's medical and surgical history for the planned procedure.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids in accordance with accepted standards of safe practice.
• Supports ongoing airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic response monitoring to ensure patient safety.
• Completes required documentation: Surgical Safety Checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note.
• Logs incident reporting in the computerized Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
