Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston and Foxborough is seeking an experienced CRNA leader to manage a small to mid-sized team while continuing to provide direct patient care as a CRNA.

The role requires hiring, performance management, and SRNA training, with a focus on quality assurance and ongoing education. This is a 40-hour, onsite position with day shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree Nurse Anesthesia Practitioner required
• CRNA (NBCRNA) certification required
• Massachusetts RN license required
• ACLS and BLS required

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions of a CRNA, providing direct patient care.
• Directly oversees and is accountable for the performance of a team of CRNAs; oversees SRNA training.
• Hires, manages performance and completes appraisals for the FXB CRNA team.
• Orients, trains, and schedules SRNA staff.
• Supports quality assurance programs to aid quality improvement.
• Ensures continuing education and teaching for SRNAs.
• Acts as liaison between the nurse anesthesia program and CRNA staff.
• Ensures CRNAs follow billing compliance rules and methodology.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards
