Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a CRNA team lead to provide direct patient care while managing a small to medium-sized team of CRNAs. The role spans Boston and Foxborough locations, with a 40-hour work week and day shift availability.

The position requires a Master’s Degree in Nurse Anesthesia, NBCRNA certification, and Massachusetts RN licensure, plus ACLS and BLS credentials. Prior CRNA leadership experience is preferred and duties include staff orientation, scheduling, and quality

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia required.
  • CRNA certification NBCRNA required; Massachusetts RN license required.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care as a CRNA.
  • Oversee and be accountable for the FXB CRNA team performance; supervise SRNA training.
  • Hire, manage performance, and conduct appraisals for the FXB CRNA team.
  • Orient, train, and schedule SRNA staff.
  • Assist with quality assurance programs to support quality improvement efforts.
  • Ensure continuing education for SRNAs.
  • Act as liaison between the nurse anesthesia program and BWH physician and CRNA staff.
  • Ensure CRNAs follow billing compliance rules and methodology.
