Job summary

UHA University Health Associates in Morgantown, WV is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthetic care in collaboration with the supervising physician and within hospital policies.

Responsibilities include pre-anesthetic evaluation, anesthesia planning, airway management, IV access, monitoring during induction and emergence, safety checks, documentation, and on-call coverage as needed. Applicants must hold WV RN licensure and NBCRNA certification.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in West Virginia.
• Board certified or recertified by NBCRNA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety at all times.
• Perform airway management and use airway adjuncts.
• Monitor anesthesia and inform surgeon of adverse conditions.
• Document anesthesia record accurately.
• Participate in SBAR and surgical pause as required.
• Respond to life-threatening emergencies and provide resuscitative care.
