Job summary

WVU Health System is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthetic care in cooperation with supervising physicians, administer anesthesia, monitor patients, and inform surgeons of any adverse conditions. You will participate in pre-anesthetic evaluations and manage induction, maintenance, and emergence of anesthesia.

The role includes documenting anesthesia records and ensuring safety checks on equipment. Requirements include West Virginia RN licensure and CRNA certification.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of West Virginia, or applicable state where services will be performed.
• Board certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety at all times.
• Maintains excellence in airway management and familiarity with airway adjuncts.
• Work within scope of delineated clinical privileges.
• Protect patients and staff by following infection control precautions.

Education

RN license WV or applicable state
