Job summary

NKC Health Medical Group is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology team in Missouri. Under the anesthesiologist, you will provide Monitored Anesthesia Care, Regional, and General Anesthesia with independent professional responsibility and contribute to quality management.

Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia evaluation, intraoperative anesthesia management, post-operative rounds, and collaboration with the anesthesiology team to ensure patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
• Active Missouri CRNA license.
• Minimum of one year critical care nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews anesthesia informed consent and pre-anesthesia evaluation in collaboration with the anesthesiologist.
• Administers anesthesia and monitors the patient throughout surgery; records data in the electronic record.
• Implements orders from the anesthesiologist and performs post-operative rounds; communicates with PACU nurses.
• Observes safety measures, adheres to policies, and advocates for patients during perioperative care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
