Job summary

MUSC Health - Kershaw Medical Center in Columbia, SC is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a growing practice on a PRN basis. You will collaborate with an Anesthesia Care Team of experienced CRNAs and board-certified anesthesiologists across a broad mix of cases on the Kershaw campus.

Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program and a Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia (or higher), SC licensure eligibility, and BLS/ACLS/PALS

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• The minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a masters degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.
• Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in collaboration with the Anesthesia Care Team.
• Work across a broad mix of cases at Kershaw Medical Center.
• PRN scheduling to support department needs.
