Job summary

MUSC Health – Columbia Medical Centers seeks a PRN Cardiac-Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its expanding cardiac anesthesia team in Columbia, South Carolina. You will work with experienced CRNAs and anesthesiologists on complex cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases, with exposure to general surgery and ASC procedures.

The role emphasizes collaboration within a skilled team and a dedication to exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• The minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a master’s degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.
• Insurable by the MUSC medical malpractice insurer for the required limits.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and related cases within a cardiac anesthesia team.
• Collaborate with CRNAs and anesthesiologists to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Engage with general surgery and ASC procedures as needed.
