Job summary

MUSC Health – Columbia Medical Centers is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join our growing practice in Columbia, SC on a PRN basis. The provider will work in collaboration with a dedicated Anesthesia Care Team comprised of experienced CRNAs and board-certified anesthesiologists.

This role will focus primarily on major vascular, cardiac, and thoracic anesthesia; but may include general surgery and ASC cases as well.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• The minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a master’s degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.
• Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits.

Responsibilities

• Provide CRNA services in collaboration with an anesthesia care team.
• Focus on major vascular, cardiac, and thoracic anesthesia; may include general surgery and ASC cases.
