Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, Iowa, has a PRN opening for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). You will provide anesthesia care for surgical patients and assist in emergency management, including IV access, with responsibilities extending to post-anesthesia care.

You will discharge patients from the post-anesthesia care area and participate in follow-up evaluation and ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa CRNA licensure.
• NBCRNA certification current.
• RN license in Iowa or eligible for multi-state license.
• Eligibility to practice as CRNA in a surgical setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical patients.
• Assist with emergency management and IV access.
• Discharge patients from PACU and provide follow-up care.

Position Highlights

Floyd Valley Healthcare has a PRN opening for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)! This position will report to the Chief CRNA.

CRNA Duties

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical patients and assists with emergency management and emergency IV access Discharges patients from a post anesthesia care area and provides post anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care Identifies opportunities to improve anesthesia services and assists in developing resolutions in a positive, constructive manner

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA licensure in the State of Iowa; current certifications as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa or meet the requirements of a multi-state license.
