Job summary

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN, as-needed role reporting to the Chief CRNA. The CRNA will provide anesthesia care for surgical patients and assist with emergency management and IV access.

Responsibilities include PACU discharges and post-anesthesia follow-up care, with an emphasis on identifying opportunities to improve anesthesia services and developing constructive resolutions.

Qualifications

• Current CRNA licensure in Iowa.
• Current CRNA certification by NBCRNA/NCBRN.
• RN license in Iowa or multi-state license requirements.

Position Highlights

Floyd Valley Healthcare has a PRN opening for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)! This position will report to the Chief CRNA.

CRNA Duties Include

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical patients and assists with emergency management and emergency IV access
• Discharges patients from a post anesthesia care area and provides post anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care
• Identifies opportunities to improve anesthesia services and assists in developing resolutions in a positive, constructive manner

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA licensure in the State of Iowa; current certifications as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa or meet the requirements of a multi-state license.
