Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in nursing or appropriate discipline from an accredited institution.
• Unencumbered PA RN license.
• Certification as a CRNA through the NBCRNA.
• Three years of clinical experience providing direct patient care as a CRNA.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CRNA practice and professional issues.
• Participation in relevant professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person classroom instruction.
• Manage designated coursework and plan of study.
• Develop and revise course content to stay current.
• Video record lecture content for future use.
• Hold office hours and participate in simulations and skills labs.
• Participate in admissions for the nurse anesthesia program.
• Guide student DNP projects and remediation plans.
• Provide classroom and clinical instruction and counseling for students involved in clinical incidents.
