Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in nursing or appropriate discipline from an accredited institution.
• Unencumbered PA RN license.
• Certification as a CRNA through the NBCRNA.
• Three years of clinical experience providing direct patient care as a CRNA.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CRNA practice and professional issues.
• Participation in relevant professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-person classroom instruction
• Providing course management
• Developing and/or revising course content as needed to remain current
• Video recording lecture content for future use
• Holding office hours
• Planning and participating in simulation and skills lab
• Participating in the admissions process for the nurse anesthesia program
• Providing guidance for student DNP projects
• Providing classroom and clinical instruction, counseling to students involved in clinical incidents, and developing appropriate remediation plans
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Enterprise
