Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking a CRNA to cover in Northeast Nevada (Elko area) with ASAP start. The role offers full-time capacity for 3 weeks or two on/2 off, with multiple ORs including OB and non-OB cases.

There are currently 3 CRNAs onsite and one on-call backup; the team follows a 1:3 call rotation and weekend coverage, with cases across ENT, GI, general surgery, OB, and more. The position requires credentialing within approximately three months and uses paper charting; housing, travel, and tail

Responsibilities

• Provide CRNA anesthesia care for OR cases including OB, ENT, GI, general surgery.
• Be on-call with a 1:3 rotation and cover weekends.
• Work 8-hour shifts Mon-Fri when not on-call; weekend call shifts.
• Credentialing timeframe around 3 months.
• Paper charting is currently used at the site.

Largest source of volume is Endo at this site, followed up by Ortho/OB/General

They do have one CRNA on-call and a back-up call just in case there are any cases outside of OB at night

3 CRNA’s onsite daily and the 4th CRNA takes PTO-they work Monday-Friday (8 hour shifts) when not on-call; weekend call shifts.We would want someone willing to take call (1:3) and willing to work approximately 16-20 days/month.May need two locums to assist with this coverage.

OB – ~507 annual deliveries; ~61 c-sections; ~386 epidurals

night and weekend (1 CRNA always off)
