Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking CRNAs for urgent Q4 2026 coverage with a Nov 15 start through Dec 31, 2026. Shifts include 8, 10, 12, and occasional 24-hour options; 12-hour shifts are mostly Thursdays and Fridays. Case mix includes General, Endoscopy, OB (epidurals); ER, ENT, Pediatrics, and Neuro are excluded.

Case volume and supervision vary; Sunrise (Altera) EMR is used for charting and MedAxion for anesthesia. Approximately 15 ORs; MDs supervise multiple CRNAs as needed.

Qualifications

• CRNA must hold a valid CRNA certification and license.
• Experience with fixed-site OR coverage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general CRNA anesthesia services for diverse cases.
• Coordinate with supervising MDs and facility staff.
• Maintain patient safety and airway management during procedures.

The Role:

CRNA - Urgent Q4 Coverage Needs 2026

• Target start date: Nov 15, 2026. Urgently needs coverage thru Dec 31,2026.
• Emergency Privs offered on a case by case basis with clean file. Typically takes 60 days.
• Shift Type: 8, 10, 12, and occasional 24 hour options. 12-hour shifts are mostly Thursdays and Fridays.
• Pager Call: Mix of 12 and 24 hour call shifts available.
• Cases: General, Endoscopy, OB (epidurals); excludes ENT, Pediatrics, and Neuro. Cardiac cases are covered by the facility's cardiac team.
• Site Charting System: Hospital EMR is Sunrise (Altera). Anesthesia system: MedAxion.
• Number of Anesthesia Rooms: Approximately 15, depending on the day.
• Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes — a mix of supervision and room coverage as needed; anesthesiologists may supervise up to about 3 CRNAs.
• What is the CRNA to MD ratio: Typically up to 3 CRNAs per MD.
