Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist to collaborate with physicians in developing anesthesia care plans and delivering IV sedation, monitored anesthesia care, or general/regional/local anesthesia for a range of procedures. You will monitor patients, perform CPR or life support during emergencies, and support the department under the Manager of Anesthesiology.

The position requires weekend work as defined by the unit; a signing bonus of up to $75,000 plus relocation assistance is

Qualifications

• Licensed as CRNA in Michigan with current certification.
• Completion of accredited nurse anesthesia program and state licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certification required; NBCRNA certification preferred.
• PALS is an additional preferred certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluation and preparation.
• Prepare the OR suite for all types of anesthesia.
• Administer, manage, and monitor anesthesia care during induction, maintenance, and emergence.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluation.
