Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a qualified CRNA to join our anesthesia team. You will perform anesthesia administration and monitoring as per clinical privileges, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care in collaboration with multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• CRNA duties defined by clinical privileges.
• Performs safe medication and fluid administration.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, and physiologic response.
• Completes surgical safety checklist and intraoperative records.

Responsibilities

• Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data for the patient’s medical and surgical history as it relates to the planned procedure.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Provides ongoing assessment of airway and anesthesia to ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Documents all required records: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care notes.
• Logs incidents in the computerized Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
