Qualifications

• Graduate of COA-accredited nurse anesthesia program.

Responsibilities

• Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data pertinent to the patient‘s medical and surgical history.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds appropriately to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids in accordance with safe practice.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response to ensure patient safety.
• Completes required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, and transfer-of-care notes.
• Logs incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
