Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• CRNA duties include planning, implementing, and supervising anesthesia care.

Responsibilities

• Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data relevant to patient history for planned procedures.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic response to ensure patient safety.
• Completes required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, transfer-of-care note.
• Logs incidents in the Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
