Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

The role offers full-time shifts with a pay range of $185,000.00 - $248,986.00 per year and a $45,000 new hire sign-on bonus for eligible positions. Comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Work experience may not substitute for education requirement.
• Certification: APN with CRNA specialty by Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
