Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by COA is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data for the patient’s medical history and planned procedure.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response for patient safety.
• Completes documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note.
• Logs incidents in Safety Portal.
