Qualifications

• CRNA must be a graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.

Responsibilities

• Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient medical and surgical history data relevant to the planned procedure.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids following safe practice standards.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic responses to ensure patient safety.
• Completes required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note.
• Logs incidents in the Safety Portal.
