Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by CODA or its predecessor.
• Nurse anesthesia scope and patient safety responsibilities are expected.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in full anesthesia care processes.

Aufgaben

• Clinical responsibilities of the CRNA are delineated by clinical privileges.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data relevant to history and planned procedure.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluids, and physiologic responses for patient safety.
• Complete required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, transfer notes.
• Log incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
