Job summary

ECAA - Anesthesia Specialists seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to manage anesthesia across Charlotte surgery centers, including Museum and Wendover campuses. You will apply advanced clinical skills in high-acuity cases and contribute to patient education and safety.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, anesthesia administration, post-anesthesia recovery, and collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and physicians.

Qualifications

• Must be a CRNA or in the process of certification.
• Current NC RN license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Must be an AA or pursuing a Master’s in anesthesia assistant program.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Examine patient history for allergies or illnesses that would affect anesthesia.
• Evaluate and prepare patients, educate about surgeries and recovery, and discuss side effects.
• Determine appropriate amount, type, and method of anesthesia administration.
• Perform anesthetics; administer medication for pain relief.
• Supervise and assist other Anesthetists.
• Oversee recovery and pain management of patients.
• Inform patients of post-surgical and pain management procedures.
• Assist in patient procedure preparation.
