Job summary

VA Black Hills is seeking a Permanent - Full-Time Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Anesthetist) to care for Veterans in Fort Meade, SD. The CRNA provides a full range of anesthesia services and works within a Whole Health System of care to promote safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include anesthesia administration across settings, collaboration with a broad care team, and contributing to education and research activities.

Qualifications

• Must have current RN license and CRNA credentials.
• Experience administering anesthesia in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Ability to work within a Whole Health System of care.

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develops anesthesia plans for local, regional, general anesthesia.
• Collaborates with health care professionals to ensure safe patient care.
• Preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative orders and meds are prescribed as appropriate.
