Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) as part of the Advanced Practice Nurse team. The role emphasizes high-quality care and alignment with VA mission, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Initiating anesthetic techniques including general, regional, local, and IV sedation.
• Monitoring patient status with non-invasive and invasive modalities.

Responsibilities

• Administering anesthetics and related drugs and fluids to manage anesthesia.
• Managing airway and pulmonary status using current practice modalities.
• Facilitating emergence and recovery with medications, fluids, and ventilator support.
• Discharging patients from post-anesthesia care and providing follow-up care as needed.
• Responding to emergencies with airway management and ACLS techniques.
• Implementing acute pain management modalities.
