Job summary

US Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Permanent, Full-Time Advanced Practice Nurse (Certified Nurse Anesthetist) to care for Veterans in Fort Meade, SD. The CRNA provides advanced clinical practice, consultation, and management in alignment with VA mission.

The position requires a master’s or doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia, active CNAs license, and NBCRNA certification. Responsibilities include anesthesia administration and collaboration with the care team to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia.
• Active CNAs license and NBCRNA certification required.
• Appointment at Nurse II or higher may be considered with licensure/certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for Veterans.
• Administer inhalational, regional, IV, and local anesthetics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and quality.
