UAB Medicine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures in Birmingham and central Alabama. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualified candidates must graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and hold APN-CRNA certification with the Alabama Board; ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN with CRNA Specialty certified by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
