Job summary

UAB Medicine invites CRNAs to join a large anesthesia team supporting over 100,000 cases annually across Birmingham and central Alabama. This role offers exposure to a wide range of specialties, with anesthesia delivered in both inpatient and outpatient settings under physician supervision.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required, with ARNP-CRNA certification and ACLS/BLS/PALS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
• Current APN with CRNA Specialty certification by Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and tests.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
