Job summary

UPMC Outpatient Surgery Center in West Mifflin is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a dynamic anesthesia team. The role features non-exempt hourly rates, a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment, and a focus on high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art facility outside Pittsburgh.

The CRNA will provide comprehensive anesthesia services, participate in teaching, and contribute to ongoing quality initiatives while enjoying professional growth

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program required.
• Knowledgeable regarding controlled substance policies in accordance with Federal and State laws required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and related care from pre-op through recovery.
• Manage controlled substances per hospital policy and regulations.
• Assist with teaching and evaluation of CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs.
• Participate in Quality Improvement processes via documentation and incident reporting.
