Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthetic care for surgical patients in the Pittsburgh region. The role involves assessing and managing anesthesia plans, continuous patient monitoring, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualified candidates will hold PA RN licensure (or eNLC) and CRNA certification; prior CRNA experience is preferred. Compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies is required, with opportunities to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN license or multi-state eNLC license.
• CRNA certification from NBCRNA is required.
• Previous CRNA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for patients.
• Continuously monitor patients under anesthesia and consult attending physician as needed.
• Participate in performance/quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to nursing ethics and safety standards per AANA and regulatory agencies.
• Serve as a resource to the interdisciplinary team and mentor staff or students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
