Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthetic care in the surgical setting. The role requires active PA RN licensure (or eNLC) and CRNA certification. CPR and various background clearances are required.

The CRNA will monitor patients under anesthesia, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and engage in quality improvement activities while adhering to professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements anesthetic management for all patients; ensures accurate medical record documentation.
• Provides continuous observation of patients under anesthesia and coordinates with attending physician for plan of care.
• Participates in performance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to nursing ethics, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Acts as a clinical resource to the care team and may mentor staff or students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
