Endeavor Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for the Department of Anesthesiology at Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, IL. The role is full-time with an average of 40 hours per week, daytime hours Monday–Friday, with some off-shifts as needed.

CRNAs collaborate in an ACT environment, supporting mentorship, leadership opportunities, and a broad case mix including Neuro, General, Thoracic, Orthopedic and more.

Qualifications

• Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse license required.
• Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia.
• CRNA certification or board eligible; recertification every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care under the supervision of the attending anesthesiologist.
• Work across diverse case types: Neuro, Gen Surg, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, Optho, IR, Cath Lab, GI, MRI.
• Perform regional anesthesia including Spinals and PNBs.

$122.60 - $162.41 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

CRNAs at Endeavor Health are part of the medical group and function in a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team (ACT). CRNAs carry out clinical assignments under the direction of the chief of the Department of Anesthesiology, and under the specific direction/supervision of the designated attending anesthesiologist. The extent of the service provided by the CRNA is at the discretion of the attending anesthesiologist. Patient care includes patients of all ages: pediatrics through geriatrics. Delivery of care requires appropriate knowledge and skills to assess each age group, interpret age specific data along with skills to appropriately treat (i.e. medications, set-ups, equipment, etc.) every age-specific patient.

The scope of practice of the CRNAs at Endeavor Health is unlimited. Patient care focuses on a wide range of ages, pediatrics through geriatrics. Case variety is diverse including Neuro, Gen Surg, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, Optho, IR, Cath Lab, GI and MRI. CRNAs perform regional anesthesia including Spinals and PNBs.

Qualifications

• License: Advanced Practice Nurse License in the state of Illinois.
• Education: Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia
• Certified or Board eligible for certification as CRNA
• Maintains re-certification every two years
• Certification: BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS certification recommended.
• Experience: New graduate and experienced candidates welcomed to apply!
