Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse in Elmhurst, IL for a full-time shift schedule (M-F with specific early morning hours) including on-call requirements. The RN will deliver professional nursing care, perform assessments, plan and evaluate patient care, document progress, and collaborate with the team to meet unit goals.

A BSN within 5 years is preferred, with Illinois RN licensure and CPR/BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher; BSN required within 5 years from start date.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification; ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care, assesses patients' condition, plans and evaluates care, and records observations.
• Delegates appropriate tasks and collaborates with the care team to meet unit goals.

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education:
  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• License/Certification:
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
