Job summary

Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide comprehensive anesthesia care from pre-op through post-anesthesia care under medical supervision. The CRNA will participate in general, regional, and emergency anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.

Must hold current SC RN and APRN licenses with AANA Certification; ACLS and PALS are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in SC required.
• APRN licensure in SC required.
• Board certification by AANA Council on Certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care under supervision of a licensed anesthesiologist.
• Assist with regional anesthesia when approved.
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluation and post-anesthetic care.
• Monitor patient status continuously during anesthesia.
• Manage airway and ventilation during procedures.
• Prepare and apply necessary monitoring and drugs for safe anesthesia.
