Florida Gulf Coast University’s Marieb College of Health & Human Services and the School of Nursing seek CRNA educators to teach at the graduate level and contribute to curriculum development and research. Assistant/Associate Professor CRNA will join MCHHS at an exciting time in the college's history, with growth and a renewed focus on interprofessional education.

The role includes teaching DNP Nurse Anesthesiology courses, mentoring DNP projects, conducting clinical teaching and simulation

Qualifikationen

• Doctoral degree with a Nurse Anesthesia major from a regionally accredited institution.
• Three or more years of clinical experience in the CRNA role.
• Current unrestricted license as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Florida or eligible for licensure.
• Current NBCRNA certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred: faculty experience, distance teaching platform experience, and scholarship track.

Aufgaben

• Teaches graduate-level DNP Nurse Anesthesiology courses and other graduate nursing courses as qualified.
• Mentor DNP Project students.
• Conducts clinical teaching and simulation labs and advising.
• Engages in scholarship, publication, and grantsmanship.
• Serves on committees and participates in accreditation activities and service to the university.
