Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia care at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The role includes delivering safe anesthesia to diverse ages, collaborating with surgical teams, and floating between sites as needed.

The position requires NBCRNA certification, current RN licensure in the state, and ACLS/BLS/PALS per policy, with orientation to begin promptly.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN, MSN, DNP, or graduate diploma; NBCRNA certification; state RN licensure.
• Orientation: four to six week orientation with preceptor.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure; NBCRNA certification; current CRNA endorsement; ACLS/BLS/PALS per NH policy.
• Additional Skills: Modify anesthetic plans; operate across case types; handle under stress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care from pediatrics to geriatric patients.
• Administer anesthetics for diverse procedures.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and teams.
• Adjust plans based on patient status.
• Practice independently within CRNA scope.
• Float between sites as needed.
