Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY is seeking a CRNA to provide general and regional anesthesia under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist. You will perform preoperative anesthesia services in collaboration with the team and prepare all necessary equipment and medications for perioperative management.

New York City is a wonderful place to learn and practice medicine, with day shifts, Mon-Fri workdays, and a 7:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Program on Nurse Anesthesia, as recognized by the COA.
• Certification by NBCRNA – certification required biannually.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – biannual certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and regional anesthesia services under attending supervision.
• Perform preoperative anesthesia assessments in collaboration with the attending anesthesiologist.
• Prepare all necessary equipment and medications for perioperative anesthetic management.
