The CRNA will also deliver preoperative anesthesia services in the Pre-Anesthesia Assessment Center in collaboration with the attending physician.

Qualifications

• DNP or DNAP from an accredited nurse anesthesia program recognized by COA.
• NBCRNA certification required (Board certification).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the anesthesia cart and supplies.
• Check anesthesia machine before procedures.
• Requisition, prepare and label perioperative medications.
• Conduct preoperative patient evaluations.
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records.
