Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide general and regional anesthesia under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.

The CRNA will prepare carts and machines, perform preoperative evaluations, and document perioperative care with a focus on patient safety. This is a day-shift staff position with Mon-Fri scheduling.

Qualifications

• CRNA with anesthesia specialization and appropriate licensure.
• DNP or DNAP from COA-accredited program required.
• NBCRNA certification and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and regional anesthesia under supervision.
• Prepare anesthesia cart, machine, and perioperative meds.
• Perform preoperative evaluations and obtain IV access.
• Monitor anesthesia and document perioperative events accurately.
• Maintain operating room safety and equipment readiness.
• Communicate patient status to PACU staff post-procedure.
