Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care across procedures, including airway management and perioperative support. You will perform pre-anesthesia assessments, obtain consent, and lead anesthesia administration from general to regional techniques.

The role requires CRNA certification with 0–2 years’ experience; ACLS/BLS and PALS are preferred. Competitive hourly pay with shift and weekend differentials may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree graduate of accredited nursing program and Master's degree graduate of Nurse Anesthetist program.
• 0 to 2 years working as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Responsibilities

• Provides Anesthesia care
• Performs pre-anesthesia assessment and evaluation of patient, reviews orders and obtains informed consent.
• Initiates anesthetic technique (general, regional, local or sedation).
• Manages airway and cardiopulmonary status to maintain physiologic condition.
• Facilitates emergence and recovery from anesthesia by administering medications, fluids and airway support.
• Discharges patient, providing summary of patient history and surgical events.
• Inserts peripheral and arterial catheters.
• Initiates or participates in CPR with airway management and ventilation.
• Collaborates with department team.
• Acts as a resource to peers and other health professionals.
