Job summary

Allina Health in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist to render anesthesia care across procedures, perform pre-anesthesia assessments, ensure proper patient positioning, and manage airway and physiologic status.

The role provides peri-anesthetic support throughout the facility, collaborates with the department team, and participates in CPR and emergent care when needed. Requires RN license and CRNA, ACLS/PALS, with 16 hours/week shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Master's degree from a Nurse Anesthetist program.
• RN license in MN and CRNA certification upon hire.
• ACLS/BLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia care across procedures.
• Performs pre-anesthesia assessment and reviews orders.
• Ensures proper patient positioning and safety.
• Initiates anesthesia techniques (general, regional, local or sedation).
• Manages airway and cardiopulmonary status.
• Facilitates emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
• Discharges patient with summary of events.
