Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.

You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and collaborate with surgeons and other care teams in a high-volume academic-affiliated community setting, with no on-call or holiday shift requirements.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations: APRN with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
Participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
