Description:Candidates must live outside of the 60-mile facility radius.Epic training is not billable.Training is completed remotely prior to the provider's start date.Providers with previous Epic experience are typically required to complete a brief 4-5 question competency module, which takes a few minutes.Providers without Epic experience should expect approximately one hour of remote Epic training prior to their first day.Coverage around the holidays is needed.Very rarely are providers asked to work actual holidays, but they need to be able to cover days surrounding the holiday.Two providers are scheduled for 12-hour shifts and two providers for 10-hour shifts for holiday coverage.The work details include a support staff of a 1:4 care team model with anesthesiologist support.The amount of coverage needed per month includes weekly full-time coverage.2-3 weeks per month availability will also be considered.Patients per day vary based on cases for the day.There could be 2 long cases or up to 15 endoscopy cases per day.The patient population consists mainly of adults.The department practices hospital-based anesthesia with no cardiac cases.Electrophysiology coverage is a daily component of the practice.The practice runs two rooms with approximately 4-5 cases per room per day.Limited OB exposure is currently available with potential for future expansion.General skills required include proficiency in General Anesthesia and Spinal and Epidural techniques.Providers may occasionally float to affiliated Surgery Centers based on staffing needs.Credentialing timeframe for temporary privileges is approximately 30 days; typically, it takes 60-90 days.Travel reimbursement is available up to a specified amount per week.
