Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Pennsylvania is seeking a locum anesthesia provider to cover high-acuity surgical cases across Level II ORs, OB, EP lab, and GI labs.

The schedule runs 11am–7pm, with other shifts starting at 6:30am (8’s, 10's, 12's) on a Monday–Friday rotation; no call and no weekends. Credentialing typically takes 90–120 days with start date upon completion; EMR is EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for high-acuity and general cases across Level II ORs, OB, EP lab, and GI labs.
• Support 1:4, 1:3, or 1:2 care team ratios depending on case complexity.
• Adhere to the schedule: 11am–7pm; other shifts start at 6:30am (8’s, 10's, 12's); Monday–Friday rotation with no call and no weekends.
• Credentialing typically takes 90–120 days with start date upon completion; EMR: EPIC.

• Credentialing is 90-120 days. Start date upon completion
• Schedule: 11am - 7pm; All other shifts start at 6:30am (8’s, 10's, 12's) Monday - Friday rotation, no call, no weekends
• Setting: Level II, 14 ORs, OB, EP lab, 2 GI labs, offsite anesthesia
• Types of Cases: All cases, high-acuity, general bread and butter, orthopedics, endocrinology, vascular, and heads. No Cardiac required.
• EMR: EPIC
• Care Team (and ratio) or Independent: 1:4,1:3 or 1:2 depending on the complexity of cases that day.
