GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This role involves providing anesthetic care for patients in the surgical setting.

Sign-on bonus of $60,000 is offered to external hires only.

Eligibility requires continued full-time (1.0 FTE) employment with AHN for at least three years in the initially hired position.

Rehires must have been separated from AHN for at least twelve months to qualify.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for all patients. Provide accurate medical record documentation. (45%)
• Monitor patients under anesthesia continuously and respond to abnormal responses. Collaborate with physicians on care plans and clinical decisions outside the CRNA's scope. (35%)
• Participate in, develop, and implement quality improvement initiatives. (10%)
• Follow legal and ethical standards of nursing and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Maintain safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance. (5%)
• Serve as a clinical resource to the healthcare team. Mentor new staff or students if applicable. (5%)
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Current PA RN license
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
• BLS certification

Preferred

• Previous CRNA experience
