UPMC Wellsboro has an opportunity for a CRNA to practice independently in a 25-bed critical access hospital in Wellsboro, PA. The team currently includes three providers and is looking to add a fourth. The facility has three ORs and two endo rooms, with no hearts, heads, or vascular cases. There are very few pediatric cases, mainly healthy ENT. Other specialties include general, ortho, podiatry, and urology.

Compensation is competitive, with time and a half for hours worked on call. Call is 1:4 and can be taken from home if within 15 minutes of the hospital; otherwise, it is in-house. Benefits are great, including an employer match for a 403B plan. The position is available for an immediate start or as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable practicing independently and with epidurals. Experience with spinals and nerve blocks is a plus but training is available. The anesthesia team maintains a great rapport with surgeons and hospitalists, creating a pleasant work environment.
