UPMC Wellsboro has an opportunity to practice independently with an all CRNA group in a 25-bed critical access hospital in Wellsboro, PA. There are currently three providers, and they are looking to add a fourth. The facility has three ORs and two endo rooms. No hearts, heads, or vascular cases. Very few pediatrics, mainly healthy ENT. Cases include general, ortho, podiatry, and urology. The position offers a competitive base salary with time and a half for hours worked on call. Call is 1:4 and can be taken from home if within 15 minutes of the hospital; otherwise, it is in-house. Benefits include employer matching for a 403B plan. The position is available for an immediate start or as soon as possible. Candidates must be comfortable practicing independently and with epidurals. Experience with spinals and nerve blocks is a plus but training can be provided. The anesthesia team maintains a great rapport with surgeons and hospitalists, creating a pleasant work environment.
