Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our growing team. We are committed to providing high-quality services to our southwest Minnesota community.
2 weeks on, 1 week off; First week call 24/7, no call weeks 2 & 3. POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR $20,000 RELOCATION ASSISTANCE
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for anesthesia services in patient care delivery. He/she manages staff regarding anesthesia services in the OR, Outpatient Surgery, OB, and PACU. He/she consults with staff, medical staff, and the Surgical Services Nurse Manager regarding issues and policy interpretation. The CRNA maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in PI activities. He/she assists in formulating the budget. The CRNA provides care in pain management, addressing psychosocial and physical patient needs. He/she functions as a resource and educator. Care reflects initiative and responsibility consistent with professional standards. He/she is proficient in pain management, guidelines, and medication dosing. He/she adheres to the mission, vision, and values of Pipestone County Medical Center & Family Clinic in all job aspects.
Education and/or Experience: Graduate from an approved professional CRNA program. Master’s Degree required. Previous experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: An active CRNA license and Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Minnesota and/or meeting multi-state licensure requirements. Certification as a CRNA by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or re-certified by the Council on Re-certification of Nurse Anesthesia. Certification as an APRN through the Minnesota Board of Nursing specific to the practice area. Federal DEA certification as required by Minnesota. BLS (CPR) certification required. Certification in CALS with newborn module OR ACLS, PALS, and NRP required.
Salary Range: $217,859.20 - $277,201.60 annually, dependent on experience.
